Cypripedium Emil

30-40 cm   medium-size, May

Emil resembles the European lady´s slipper (Cypripedium calceolus) and the North American yellow lady’s slipper (Cypripedium parviflorum) but is much easier to grow in the garden. The intensely coloured flowers open in mid-May and enrich your garden with exclusive beauty. Strong plants occassionally grow two blooms on one stem.

No need for winter protection: This garden orchid is absolutely hardy.
