Cypripedium Inge

35-45 cm   large, May

The flower of Inge is especially long-lived (three weeks). Towards the middle of May the plant blooms with its rather unusual brown striped flower and yellowish lip with the attractive red margin. Every year the number of shoots increases and after a few years one has a decorative clump in the garden.

Cypripedium Inge like all the other garden orchids on offer survives the winter without further protection being necessary.
